Coyote Moon by John Vornholt: Absolutely ridiculous. The book received significant controversy, not just for explicit scenes of child sexual abuse and also prison rape, but for the way it presented the views of the two protagonists in that they believed sex with minors was perfectly acceptable. Defenders of the book argued that it was mostly written from the perspective of the pedophiles and therefore could not help but display their beliefs....

I'm about half way through the Reichs novel
and I am extremely disappointed. I know it wasn’t going to be the show or anything, but I guess I just figured since it’s a character with the SAME NAME there would be some similarities. But there are none. She’s annoying and she cries all the time and she’s mean to herself and she understands way too many pop culture references.
And the murder mystery has zero...
